Lead Program Manager | Best Buddies Texas
Best Buddies Texas is dedicated to providing leadership opportunities for our participants with intellectual disabilities. The Buddy Ambassador program is in its second year of public speaking and advocacy training. Our top leaders with intellectual disabilities are selected to attend trainings and learn how to give their first public speech.
Best Buddies Texas congratulates our newest Buddy Ambassadors! These amazing self-advocates presented their very first speech in front of a crowd of 800 people at the 2010 Best Buddies Friendship Walk on April 10 at the University of St. Thomas. We couldn’t be more proud of these dynamic leaders.
